Terms: This is a permanent, full time job, which requires working days, evenings, and weekends.

Salary: will be $40,000.00 to $53,000.00 per year for a 40 hour week.
Notes: bonus, and other benefits.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: two to three years’ experience.

Work Setting: Hardware store, Hobby/crafts/novelty store

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Point of sale system, Electronic mail, Electronic scheduler, Inventory control software, General office equipment

Staff Responsibility: 21 - 50

Specific Skills: Plan, direct and evaluate daily operations, Manage staff and assign duties, Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses, Determine staffing requirements, Recruit and train staff, Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, Customer service oriented

Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Credit check

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information: Urban area

Ability to Supervise: More than 20 people
