Salary: will be negotiated and depends on the skills and experience of the applicant.

Education: The applicant should have completed high school.

Experience: is an asset.

Credentials required: The applicant should have Survey Technologist Trade Certification, Survey Technician (Instrumentation) Trade Certification.

Survey Specialization: Geodetic, Topographic, Legal, Engineering, Hydrographic, Urban, Rural area, Land development, Construction

Type of Systems: GPS - global positioning system

Specific Skills: Conduct field surveys, Operate survey instruments and devices

Additional Skills: Keep survey information in systematic order

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver’s licence

Work Site Environment: Outdoors

Work Location Information: Various locations

Other Information: This opening is for a Survey Technician to work in the field using traditional and/or GPS equipment. A survey tech course or four years experience is required. Power saw operation would be an asset.
